The unmatched party genius SKRATCH BASTID and PETER FARMER take the stage this Valentines day. A year and a half ago the Marquee Club hosted the "Siren show" Peter painted a half naked Mermaid on a 9' x 9' canvas while BASTID and other rappers and Djs made it the party of the summer. This time Peter is painting two NUDE models one male and one female on two separate canvases (one on each side of the stage). The paintings will tell a love story throughout the night. Make sure you come early to see it unfold.
SKRATCH BASTID
----------------------------
The Bastid has become one of Canada’s most in-demand DJs and respected producers. But it didn’t happen overnight. After pumping out mixtapes and earning a loyal following in his hometown of Halifax, Skratch began making an international name for himself through DJ competitions like the DMC, ITF and Cincinnati’s Scribble Jam, which he won three times. From there, the redhead went viral. Seriously, Youtube that shit.
This Bastid works hard. Only someone who does could maintain residencies in multiple Canadian cities. Only someone who does could have toured the United States and Europe before his 23rd birthday. An only someone who really works their ass off could play 200 shows a year and share the stage with heavyweights like Nas, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ludacris, Mix Master Mike, Ice-T, DJ Premier, Modeselektor, The Tragically Hip, Russell Peters and many more. Like Samantha Fox, for some reason.

PETER FARMER
----------------------------
Peter Farmer was born in Cardiff, Wales, and raised in England, Scotland, America, and Canada. His commitment to painting began in earnest over a decade ago; since that time he has also studied anatomy and physiology, earned a degree in Graphic Design, established a Motion Graphic Design Studio, and traveled extensively throughout Canada and Europe. This multi-disciplinary background and international experience influences his art heavily - reflected in his disciplined devotion to technique, his abundant array of subject matter, and above all - his passion for color. The cool grays of the British Isles, the rich blues of Newfoundland, the intense greens of Italy - Farmer's work calls upon a plentiful palette of living colors and cultures.
Farmer has recently devoted his artwork to music. For three years he has been performing with musical artist on stage, painting a wide array of images to the music being performed. He developed the Art Cabaret, which promotes live painting in conjunction with musical performance. Peter has performed with Canadian musical acts such as Kid Koala, Skratch Bastid, Aaron Collier, Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees, The Team Canada DJs, Ghettosocks and many more, in venues all across Canada.
